I will be setting into rust repair this week on the van, meaning I will end up saying to hell with it and repainting the whole van again.

This leads me to another decision. As those of you who’ve read my van build know, my van was supposed to be Charcoal Grey and Black 2 tone, which turned 2 tone blue by using too much blue pearl in the clear coat.

So the decision at hand:

Repaint it the same color it is now.

Paint it Charcoal/Black as I originally wanted.

Or.............Pending wife approval.........Paint it Seafoam/Black 2-tone.

I lost it at paint the entire van again. Started coming back when I understood the slight miscalculation being rectified. How bad of rust are we talking here?

I say you use a darker metallic with bright contrasting stripes.  That C&C tape stripe contest should be a good point of reference for atypical design.

Seafoam and black could be epic. Maybe throw on a pink to seafoam wavy for side stripes.

I have to replace both rockers, so the whole bottom needs paint again.  Nothing terrible, but enough that I don’t want to try matching the existing color, besides there are a couple chips/scratches I would like to take care of other places.
